About Elisa
As a 21-year-old psychology student from France, I bring a rich cultural background and passion for language learning to my French tutoring sessions. My approach is centered around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students feel encouraged to express themselves and explore the French language.
I have a BAFA certification (The BAFA, or Brevet d’Aptitude aux Fonctions d’Animateur, is a French certification that qualifies individuals to work as animators or activity leaders in various settings, including summer camps, leisure centers, and educational institutions) and a background in working with children, gained from my experience as a scout leader and through various recreational programs. My time spent in summer camps and leisure activities has equipped me with the skills to engage younger learners effectively and adapt to different learning styles.
By combining my educational background, tutoring techniques, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching, I aim to inspire confidence and foster a love for the French language in my students.

As a French tutor in Australia, my teaching approach is centered on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I use a combination of communicative and task-based methodologies to help students actively engage with the language. This involves:
1. Interactive Lessons: I encourage conversation and practical use of the language through role-plays, dialogues, and real-life scenarios. This method helps students apply what they learn in a meaningful context.
2. Customized Learning Plans: Each student has unique needs and learning styles. I assess their current proficiency level and tailor my lessons accordingly, focusing on areas such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and cultural understanding.
3. Use of Multimedia Resources: I integrate various resources, including videos, music, and articles, to make learning more dynamic and relevant. This not only enhances language acquisition but also provides insights into French culture.
4. Regular Assessments and Feedback: To track progress, I conduct periodic assessments and provide constructive feedback. This helps students recognize their strengths and identify areas for improvement
A typical lesson lasts around 60 to 90 minutes. This duration allows sufficient time for instruction, practice, and interaction without overwhelming the student. Longer sessions can be scheduled as needed, particularly for intensive review or preparation for exams.
I am currently studying in Australia. My background includes a formal education in French language and literature.
My lessons are designed for a diverse range of learners, including:
• Beginners: Students with little to no prior knowledge of French.
• Intermediate Learners: Those looking to enhance their conversational skills and grammar.
• Advanced Students: Individuals preparing for exams or seeking to refine their fluency for professional purposes.
• Age Groups: I work with students of all ages, from children to adults, adapting my teaching style to suit different learning preferences and motivations.
By fostering a love for the French language and culture, I aim to inspire my students to achieve their linguistic goals and build their confidence in using French in everyday life.
