About Bethany
Hello, my name is Bethany and I am a recent Physics Graduate. I've always been passionate about teaching and I believe that building confidence in my students and providing a safe, and patient environment to learn is the key to excelling in any subject field.
While I am relatively new to teaching, I have also had experience being a Volunteer for my local Guide Group for many years. I have a valid DBS check.
My specialty is Physics but I can also help with Mathematics at pre-GCSE, GCSE and A-Level. I'm available any time Monday-Thursday, Friday Mornings, and weekends during the day.

I will begin with a free, get-to-know-you session. Here we will identify which areas where you may be struggling, or don't feel very confident about. I will ask you how and what methods of learning you prefer, and what may work better for you.
From there I will create a teaching plan specifically for you. Starting each time with the absolute basics, and finding at which point you begin to struggle and then teaching from there. In this process we will be solidifying the basics and work up until you are confident in applying what we've learnt until you are comfortably answering exam-style questions, with a full and deep understanding of each topic.
My main aim is for all my students to feel confident, both in their ability to excel in class and in exams but also in their subject knowledge and ability to connect what they're learning to real-world applications.
