About Angel

I am a patient and compassionate tutor who believes in the importance of understanding students beyond their grades in order to better teach and guide them. I have been a tutor for about 2 years now, and will use those previous years to help create a supportive and communicative learning environment for each student. I value both your time and mine and will come prepared for each session with a promise to move each student towards their goals.

About the lesson

I believe the best tutoring is personalized to each student’s individual needs. I create lesson plans based on the skills you want to improve, the areas you struggle with, and the goals you want to achieve. My lessons are especially well suited for students who have specific learning gaps or need additional one-on-one support.

During our first session, I’ll ask you what you would like to work on and what you find challenging. If possible, I may also ask you to provide an assignment, paper, reading sample, or anything else that can give me a better understanding of your current skills and what you need to learn. From there, I can create lessons that are specifically tailored to you.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on understanding the student rather than simply teaching from a fixed curriculum. I want to understand where you are struggling and why, so that we can work through those difficulties together. My lessons are primarily intended for K–8 students who want to strengthen their ability to read, basic literacy comprehension, , or fill specific gaps in their learning.
