About Mark
I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with the qualification of "First-Class Mandarin Certificate", and I have the teaching experience as a volunteering Chinese teacher in Malaysia and the Philippians. I speak Mandarin Chinese with standard accent and clear voice. I was a part-time host for many private and public events when I was in China.
I am now living in Newcastle upon Tyne, I have been living in the UK for about 2 years. I received my bachelor degree of engineering in a Chinese University and I just completed the postgraduate study this year at the University of Manchester with a master degree in engineering.
I use English at an advanced level (Academic IELTS 7.5), I have an in-depth understanding of both English and Chinese cultures, customs and the languages.I am passionate to share my language abilities and culture to as many people as possible, and I would love to make more friends.

I will be teaching you Mandarin Chinese from "Pinyin", which is the basic pronunciation system of Chinese.
when you get familiar with "Pinyin" and four tones of Chinese, I will be teaching you how to make basic conversations in Chinese (such as greetings, asking for directions).
I will be explaining the writing systems of Chinese, and help you side by side to write and practice Chinese writing (Writing Chinese is difficult, but worth doing, these characters are really beautiful).
we will set up a personal study plan for short-term or long-term, and I will do everything possible to help you learning this mysterious but cool language.
