About Joy
Hello! I’m Joy, a TEFL-certified English tutor with a university background in Education. I am a patient, friendly and dedicated teacher who genuinely enjoys helping people learn and grow.
I chose to teach English because I understand how powerful effective communication can be. English can create opportunities in education, employment, travel and everyday life. My goal is to help students overcome their fear of making mistakes and become confident speakers.
Teaching gives me the opportunity to share knowledge while supporting each learner’s personal development. I celebrate every improvement, whether it is learning a new word, understanding grammar or speaking confidently in a complete conversation.

Hello! I’m Joy, a TEFL-certified English tutor with a university background in Education. I understand that every learner has different goals, challenges and ways of learning, so I use a personal approach rather than teaching every student in the same way.
During our first lesson, I will identify your English level, interests and specific goals. I will then create lessons that match your needs, whether you want to improve your speaking confidence, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, interview skills or everyday communication.
