About Tinu
Hello, I’m a 5th year Imperial College London medical student. I achieved 10 ‘9’s at GCSE, 3A*s at A-Level and have been tutoring since 2021. My tutoring is built on tried and tested learning methodology such as interleaving, spaced repetition and active recall; I believe in re-examining how we learn so we don’t just work hard, but smart too! As part of this, I’m a strong advocate for supporting my students outside of scheduled lessons, guiding them in designing their own timetables and optimising the way they revise what we cover in lessons. Having studied these subjects myself, I’m acutely aware of the need for exam technique and the importance of communicating ideas in an exam with utmost clarity.

Perfect! Very good UCAT tutor. He takes a systematic approach, meaning that you aren't left uncertain on your weak points. Was able to help guide me through several different questions and I definitely felt like my time was put to good use.
Perfect! My daughter had UCAT lessons with Tinu. He is very knowledgeable and always tries to teach as much as possible in each lesson. He never wastes a single minute. I would strongly recommend him to anyone preparing for the UCAT.
Perfect! Tinu was a really helpful and effective tutor and was able to help me progress in my ucat journey. He was able to quickly identify my weaknesses early on and give me tailored feedback which helped really boost my ucat scores withon a short amount of time.

Tinu was my A Level Maths tutor for the duration of my time in Sixth Form. I can not fault his teaching. Every misconception was cleared and every concept was explained so coherently. I do not naturally grasp mathematical concepts as fast as my peers, yet Tinu maitained a patient attitude with me and always boosted my morale. He has a very in-depth understanding of Maths, and ensured I was comfortable with all the material by giving me regular Mock Exams. My success in Maths would not have been possible without Tinu.
Thank you for your help!Tinu was my tutor throughout the duration of my A Level Maths course, and I can not stress enough how fantastic he has been in explaining concepts and clarifying misconceptions. He takes his time and patiently explains things you don’t understand, in contrast to some tutors who make you feel silly for not knowing the answers, which knocks your confidence down so much! Tinu always boosted my morale and was so helpful outside of lessons aswell; he replied to my emails if I ever got stuck on homework and prepared me for my exams by assessing me with a set of mocks.
