I am about to start my first year of university at Queen Mary University of London studying Theoretical Physics. I have therefore gone down the path of maths and physics GCSE and A level quite recently and have great appreciation for the demands of the academic material.

As a tutor I am very patient and use different methods of learning and teaching depending on what fits the student best. I like to give a lot of the initiative to the student and allow them to make mistakes as that is key in developing a good understanding of the material. I focus on thinking around problems by breaking them down and trying to visualise what is happening rather then simply teaching a method of solving different types of problems. The top grades come from understanding and once you have that you have work through any problem on the paper!
