About Lucas
A little about me: I'm Lucas, 22 years old, and I love chess. Sports-wise, I play basketball a lot and often go running or to the gym. I'm also a big fan of dogs (especially golden retrievers) and I'm a DJ. I'm currently in my third year of mechanical engineering and I'm doing an internship at Marel Lichtenvoorde. I'm also a member of a student association called AEGEE, and I enjoy going out and having a beer every now and then.

I'll work with you to identify the challenges you're facing in your subject. First, I'll delve into your material, then try to explain the fundamentals as a foundation. I'll gradually build on this until you have a good understanding. We'll take this at a pace that's comfortable for you. Afterward, we'll work on assignments together, and I'll also try to create practice assignments for you so you can actually apply what you've learned. I always emphasize: "Practice makes perfect." So it's up to you to practice a lot! I can help you with everything from the first year of pre-vocational secondary education (MAVO) to your final exams in pre-university education (VWO). I've completed Mathematics B and D myself, so I can teach those subjects, as well as Mathematics A. Thanks to my mechanical engineering degree, I also have a good understanding of physics, so I can help you with that as well.

Perfect! Lucas is een uitstekende tutor die concepten uitzonderlijk duidelijk uitlegt. Hij is geduldig, oplettend en neemt echt de tijd om ervoor te zorgen dat ik de stof begrijp. Wat hem onderscheidt, is zijn vermogen om elke les aan te passen aan mijn tempo en niveau van begrip, waardoor leren zowel effectief als plezierig wordt. Ik raad hem ten zeerste aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een ondersteunende en bekwame tutor.
Perfect! Lucas is een geweldige bijlesdocent wiskunde. Hij heeft onze dochter (last minute) enorm goed geholpen en neemt de tijd om alles rustig en duidelijk uit te leggen. Zijn geduld en vermogen om lastige stof begrijpelijk te maken, maken echt het verschil. Dankzij zijn begeleiding heeft onze dochter weer meer vertrouwen gekregen in haar wiskundige vaardigheden.
Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die extra ondersteuning nodig heeft!- Iris is geduldig en ze kan goed luisteren. In de 1,5u dat we bezig waren pakte ze de stof snel op en kon ze al vlug de opgave's bijna helemaal zelf maken. Over het algemeen een hele goede leerling! :)Lucas's response :

Professionele houding. Weet wat hij doet. Is goed voorbereid en heeft een goede manier van uitleggen.
Legt rustig uit en verliest nooit zijn geduld. Heeft goede kennis van wiskunde en andere technische vakken!
