About Monesh
Teaching Philosophy - I believe in instilling a passion for lifetime learning into my students. I like being an example of a lifetime learner for my students as I am constantly learning new things. I do believe that every child can reach their learning potential, with high expectations and have opportunities in a caring classroom environment. I like getting to know every learner so that each student feels welcome and believes he/she is part of a learning community. I clearly state behavioral expectations for my class and uphold these standards. If a student does not meet my standards then I will provide further assistance and support so that the learner can fulfill my expectations. I believe in teaching students with dignity, and in providing a fun learning environment. Every child should feel worthy and have their needs listened to. I work hard to create a classroom that celebrates achievement and progress. These efforts encourage students to learn. Praise and positive calls home are what I like to implement in my environment. I feel responsible in motivating my students and offer a helping hand. I pick my learners up when they fail and guide them in achieving their dreams. I am alert to my students' aptitude and learning styles and this allows me to nurture their development. I like to be a positive reinforcement for students continually. I love using interactive methods to teach such as discussion, games, field trips, and role play. I also encourage the use of technology and see it as an integral part of current and future learning.
