About Enrique
My lessons are private, hands-on, and tailored to you. We cook together step-by-step in your kitchen or online.
I teach three levels: Beginner - confidence, knife skills, and your first full menu; Family Cooking - everyday healthy meals, Latin favorites, and smart meal prep; Advanced - sauces, flavor building, and cooking for guests.
Every class includes a strong focus on food safety: proper hygiene, how to prevent cross-contamination, temperature control with a thermometer, and safe storage. You will learn to cook food that is both delicious and safe for your family.
Classes are 1.5 to 2 hours. You will keep all recipes and technique sheets. Available in English and Spanish, in-person or online.
The first meeting is to assess your goals and create your personalized plan.

Level 1 - Beginners: Confidence in the Kitchen (4 lessons)
1. Knife skills, organization (mise en place), how to read a recipe like a pro
2. Stocks, sauces, and seasoning - the Le Cordon Bleu bases
3. Perfect grains, eggs, and vegetables
4. Your first full menu: appetizer, main, and side
Level 2 - Everyday Family Cooking (4 lessons)
1. Chicken, meat & seafood - cooking methods: sauté, roast, braise, grill
2. Latin & comfort favorites - authentic flavors, stews, beans, and sofritos
3. Healthy meal prep - cook once, eat well all week
4. How to shop smart and use leftovers without waste
Level 3 - Elevate Your Skills (Advanced)
1. Plating, timing, and cooking for guests
2. Sauces and flavor building from scratch
3. Create your own recipes
Every lesson ends with us eating what we cooked together, and you keep the detailed recipe + technique sheet.
Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours per lesson
For: Adults, couples, teens, families. In-person in Fort Lauderdale / Greenacres area or online.
