About Shrey
I am a motivated and academically strong Year 10 student at Whitsunday Anglican School, where I consistently perform at a high level in mathematics and science. I am originally from India, and experiencing two different education systems has strengthened my adaptability, communication skills, and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. Parents can feel confident knowing that I bring strong foundations, clear explanations, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed.
My achievements include receiving the Cum Laude Award (year 9), winning first place in the IUCAA National Space Day Quiz, completing the IUCAA Astronomy Camp, completing 3km, 5km, 10km, 15km marathons and participating in the 2026 Poetry Slam competition. I am also a passionate basketball player and play for the Under 18 Magpies basketball team along with the school team. I also enjoy reading, fitness, writing poetry, and have a deep knowledge of basketball shoes.
I want to teach because I understand what it feels like to struggle with learning. When I was younger, I often found it difficult to truly understand concepts. So I relied on memorizing definitions just to pass exams. Over time, I realized that real learning comes from understanding, not memorization — and that one clear explanation can completely change a student’s confidence. This experience motivates me to help younger learners avoid the same frustration. I teach using mind maps, flow charts, and simple step-by-step explanations to help students see how ideas connect and make sense. I want to guide students toward genuine understanding, build their confidence, and make their learning journey easier and more meaningful.

My tutoring approach is grounded in clarity, patience, and genuine understanding. I specialize in supporting students from grades 6 to 10, helping them build strong foundations in mathematics and science. I break down challenging concepts into simple, logical steps and use mind-maps, flow charts, examples, and structured problem-solving to make learning feel manageable and achievable. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s pace and learning style, ensuring they feel supported, encouraged, and confident as they progress.
A typical session runs for 45–60 minutes and includes clear explanations, guided practice, and short review activities to reinforce understanding. I also provide optional practice questions for students who want extra revision between lessons.
I am a high-achieving Year 10 student at Whitsunday Anglican School, currently studying advanced subjects such as Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, and Engineering. I have experience tutoring younger students and my classmates, from which I have learned to explain complex ideas in simple and fun ways. I have also coached an Under 12 basketball team which included players with ADHD and hearing difficulties. This experience taught me how to communicate clearly, remain patient, and adapt my approach so every child feels included and supported. These experiences have taught me how to explain ideas in multiple ways, motivate students effectively, and create a calm, structured learning environment.
My lessons are designed for students who need support in math, science, or homework skills. I aim to create a positive and reassuring learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and steadily improving with each lesson.

I have had the pleasure of teaching Shrey and have been consistently impressed by his curiosity, maturity, and commitment to learning. He is an exceptionally self-motivated student who regularly seeks knowledge well beyond the requirements of the curriculum, not simply to achieve high results, but because he genuinely enjoys understanding how and why concepts work.
What particularly sets Shrey apart is his ability to build deep conceptual understanding and make meaningful connections between ideas. He doesn't just learn content—he internalises it. This allows him to explain complex concepts with remarkable clarity.
In the classroom, Shrey is a calm, patient, and confident peer tutor who is always willing to support others. He carefully breaks problems down into manageable steps, explains both the content and the underlying context, and ensures those around him develop genuine understanding rather than simply memorising procedures. His approachable nature and thoughtful communication inspire confidence in his peers.
I would confidently recommend Shrey as a Superprof tutor. His strong work ethic, excellent subject knowledge, and natural ability to teach make him someone students can trust to help them build both their understanding and their confidence. In my opinion, Shrey is a great friend and person and any student would be very fortunate to be his student. He has a very strong aptitude for his subjects and also maintains a high degree of discipline, something lacking in today's society, balancing his passion for calisthenics as well as achieving very highly in his academics.
Shrey is absolutely amazing when it comes to teaching.
He has
Methodical approach

Excellent teaching skills.I teach Shrey Engineering and have found him to be a hardworking and capable student. He approaches his work with a positive attitude, asks thoughtful questions, and is willing to put in the effort to understand challenging concepts.
Shrey is reliable, communicates well, and would be well suited to tutoring students who need support in maths or engineering-related subjects. I have no hesitation in recommending him for a tutoring role.
If you’re looking for a math teacher who can turn confusion into clarity and make you laugh while doing it, Shrey is your guy. He has that rare superpower where he explains a tough concept so well that students go, “Ohhh… that actually makes sense now,” followed immediately by, “Wait, why was I scared of this?”
Shrey inspires trust because he doesn’t just teach math — he demystifies it. He breaks problems down step‑by‑step, shows the logic behind every move, and somehow keeps the vibe relaxed even when the algebra starts acting dramatic. Students feel comfortable asking questions because he never judges, never rushes, and occasionally drops a joke so unexpectedly that the whole class forgets they’re learning.
His lessons are clear, supportive, and sprinkled with humour — the perfect combo for students who want to feel confident, capable, and maybe even a little entertained while tackling maths.
If every teacher taught like Shrey, calculators would be jealous of how much students trust him.Shrey is just so FREAKING AWESOME! 11/5 stars. He hath possess the strength of 100 men, the brains of 1000 elephants, and the voice of an angel. What he lacks in height he makes up for in his tutor ability.
I've known Shrey since his childhood, so I can vouch for his character as much as his teaching. He's always been focused, well-mannered, and genuinely intelligent — someone who loves to dig into the details of whatever he's exploring.
What I appreciate most about his teaching is that same detail-oriented mindset. Whether he's understanding a concept himself or breaking it down for a student, he doesn't stop at the surface level — he makes sure the "why" behind things is clear, not just the "what." His love of reading and constant curiosity clearly shape how he explains things, making even tricky topics easier to grasp.
One experience that really stood out was a class where he was teaching the same concept to both my daughters. Instead of using a one-size-fits-all explanation, he took the time to explain it in two different ways — tailoring his approach so each of my daughters could understand it in her own terms. That level of patience and adaptability turned it into a win-win for both kids, and it's something I don't see often.
I highly recommend Shrey for an exceptional teaching experience. He brings intelligence, focus, and genuine dedication to every session.Shrey is an amazing math tutor with a wealth of knowledge. His patience when teaching, really pushes students to do better because he is so attentive and tailors his teaching style to his students’ needs.
Shrey’s knowledge, patience, and supportive teaching style help build confidence and understanding in both Maths and science. He is encouraging, reliable, simplifies difficult concepts, and takes the time to ensure lessons are fully understood. I would highly recommend Shrey to any students looking to strengthen their Maths and science skills.
