Ric is one of the rare people in this world that have the ability to break down the most complex of theories into simple chunks, teach this to you and make you smile while he's doing it. Through the several years that Ric has been my teacher, mentor and friend, I don't think I've ever left a conversation with him without learning something new and having revitalised motivation to go and learn more on my own. Ric teaches you the task in front of you and guides you to find the solution for yourself now and in the future.

Ric is an honest, enthusiastic, knowledgable and most of all kind teacher. Having been under his mentorship and guidance for many years I confidently say he is an exceptional teacher and would recommend him to anyone.

Ric is an incredible individual with a great sense of humility, utter kindness and respect to himself and others and, is always responsible for his actions and doings. His is dependable and endeavour to achieve the best for everyone. In situations where there are areas for improvement, he always makes sure to see those situations with a silver lining. Ric goes beyond what is expected of him to do in an organisation and does extremely well. Ric also proactively approach his students to ensure that they are caught on with their learning materials regardless of academic stress. Ric endeavours to ensure the well-being of his students are cared for and raise it to their awareness of the available support services that are available to them. Communication is one of Ric’s greatest assets in ensuring information is relayed optimally whether this is in written or verbal forms. He supplements his communication skills with more than sufficient information to ensure his students get the most out of their enquiry and learning. As a result of this, he has acquired the virtue of trustworthiness and the assets of what an incredible teacher is! He is always professional and approaches his students and career with a great sense of kindness and professionalism. It is with great privilege to have Ric as a teacher!

I have had the pleasure of being mentored by Ric for a number of years. Ric's background as a Paramedic and Paramedical Lecturer allows him to draw on years of experience to methodically explain things in a practical yet memorable manner. Ric has a talented ability to engage students and provide professional insight whilst also encouraging individuals to develop and challenge their critical thinking skills.

Ric was my lecturer when i was doing paramedicine in UWS. As i’m the only international student in the cohort, Ric helps me a lot in understanding everything the unit wants. very friendly and trustworthy teacher! totally glad our path crossed. :)
