About Jacqui
My name is Jacqui.
I am an occupational therapist and a final stages PhD candidate (I have submitted and now just waiting for my examination!).
I have worked as a paediatric OT, sessional academic and research assistant in my home country Australia.
My interest lies in exploring the social determinants of health and exposing the barriers faced by marginalised populations when accessing health services. I am passionate about research, academic writing and linking theory with practice.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with tertiary health students, and watching them develop into competent professionals.

Feeling stuck with an assignment? Need some help to further understand concepts or theories surrounding social health or occupational therapy? Wanting help with your academic writing or research skills?
I can help!
My lessons are specifically structured around the students' academic and content need. In our first lesson I will talk to you about what you would like to achieve from our tutoring sessions and this will guide how our sessions are structured. Typically lessons will be online, but I can provide face-to-face within the Montreal area.
I have experience with reviewing and providing feedback on writing, teaching health specific theories and models and relating content to practice.
