About Robin
I graduated from the University of Warwick with a Masters in Electronic Engineering before completing the Teach First programme and then moving to London to work as the Lead Teacher of Physics in a highly successful all through Academy. As of September 2017 I will be teaching full time at Sidney Stringer Academy in coventry where I hold the role of head of KS5 Science. I have experience teaching all year groups, from year 7 to Year 13. My A-Level teaching is to University prep standard to ensure the majority of my students attain the top grades.
Initially a quick consultation will be required to assess the student's prior knowledge, predicted grades and desired progress. After this initial consultation, tutoring sessions will be tailored to suit the needs of the student. In addition to written questions and powerpoints, I use a range of resources to aid learning such as computer simulations, practical demonstrations, videos and student lead problem solving projects. Tutoring sessions are interactive and engaging without compromising on the academic rigour.
