About Sinead
I am a friendly and supportive teacher. I will enjoy enabling you to meet your full potential in English and I can help you fix the reading or writing elements that you struggle with. I offer the insider view on what the examiners are looking for by breaking down the questions and exploring the mark scheme criteria. I have tips and hacks a plenty to help you to write and structure your essays to communicate your points effectively. With my help, you will learn how to write sophisticated creative and transactional pieces that make you stand out from the crowd.

I will assess your level in our first session and then offer lessons targetting your specific needs going forward. I like to look at past paper questions and model with exemplar answers. Lessons are 60 minutes long and will include completion of written tasks. I have been teaching for 20 years and tutoring for 15. I have an MA Honours in English Literature from Edinburgh University and completed my English PGCE at UCL. I have experience of examining for Edexcel and OCR. I tutor GCSE and A Level students.
