About Sean
**I have helped over a dozen Drama School entrance candidates & helped over 50 LAMDA students (inc. up to Grade 8)**
I specialise in helping children and adults with their public speaking and interview technique. I worked on the Admissions team of an Oxford College for 3 years, and have tutored over 200 SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS for admissions to University, 11+ and 13+.
I have trained in acting for over 2 years, and am a theatre director, so I bring these skills over to public speaking and interview technique: these are just skills after all! You can learn them!
My experience:
- HEAD OF ENGLISH AND DRAMA at London Russian Ballet School
- HEAD OF DRAMA at River House Montessori School
- HEAD OF ACTING at a Theatretrain Centre
- 4000+ hours tutoring experience, including 400+ hours tutoring LAMDA and Drama School Entrance
- I have tutored over 150 admissions candidates (including many successful Oxbridge, Drama School, 11+, 13+, and 16+ candidates)
My Education:
- I have trained at the Actors Door Studio (acting), Ecole Phillipe Gaulier (comedy/theatre), The Free Association (improv), the London Film Academy (directing) and both Central School of Speech and Drama and the Linklater Voice Centre (both Voice)
- BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Oxford University, First Class)

I always tailor my lessons to each individual student, finding out what works best for you. The first lesson involves finding out where you are at, going through some initial topics, and if you want to go ahead, we decide on a syllabus. I send you FEEDBACK every EVERY lesson. And I REGULARLY TEST my students, so that we have a concrete MARKER OF PROGRESS, and all of my tutoring is specifically geared towards exam preparation.
