About Mary Isabelle
I have been taking piano lessons and playing the piano for nearly 20 years, and have over 3 years of experience in classical ensembles. I am able to sight read most songs the first time I see them, and I understand how the skills and techniques required for restaurant playing and ensemble playing vary, and the theory behind jazz, classical, new age, and traditional pop songs, and how to make one sound like the other.

I typically start with a song a student wants to learn, or a specific goal they have. I then help them learn the techniques they can use to add more to the song, or to help them understand the theory behind the song so they can learn the techniques to sight read sheet music on their own, and play any song they want.
