About James
I have a huge passion for maths and tutoring students and I gain a huge sense of reward where I can help students get better, gain confidence and improve their understanding of maths topics especially algebra. I will happily set homework following what has been learnt in the lesson & I will then review this at the start of the next lesson to check a students understanding of what we have learnt.

My strength in teaching is breaking complex maths topics down and making them simple and easy to understand for my students. I place a strong emphasize on understanding a method rather than simply following a method, it is important students understand why a method works. I feel practising examples and applying my methods is key to getting better and improving a students confidence.
- Most lessons will be for 1 hour. I have significant experience in tutoring up to GCSE level.
- My lessons are for both primary and secondary school up to GCSE level. Adults that want to improve their maths will also benefit from my lessons.
