I try to make connections with my students, build a background knowledge, teach from their interests and needs. I use sign language, games, songs, and technology. I can teach kids and adults, have experience teaching PK-5, and adults. I have noticed how understanding typical mistakes people can make when learning a new language, and being able to explain why it is happening helps my students learn at a faster pace.
