About Anna
I am a first-year University student at the University of Waikato, Hamilton. I study a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology. I am a very bubbly person who loves to meet new people. Previously I have been a competitive swimmer who loves sports but, also I love reading and drawing in my free time. In school I got excellence endorsed through all of NCEA and excellence for subject endorsement in German. I also received the general excellence award for year 13. I now have a school leavers scholarship to attend University. With previous swimming instructor teaching experience, I understand the job at hand and the responsibilities that lie within this opportunity. I am passionate about all things German and can't wait to support you in your learning of this amazing language.

I would be able to tutor either online or on University campus and surrounding areas, in person. NCEA level 1, 2, and 3 would be my main area of expertise but younger age groups could definitely be considered. I would focus on key vocab, and depending on the upcoming assessments either practicing listening, reading or writing. After doing German through the majority of college I have a good understanding of how to most effectively understand that language. Along with this, I have understood how the assessments work and methods of study to get good marks. I don't have prior tutoring experience but quite an extensive understanding of the language in all formats (reading, writing, listening, speaking). Along with this I have 2 years prior work experience being a swim instructor meaning I can effectively work with all students for positive outcomes and understand how to teach people from all different walks of life.
