About Alice
I am a very friendly, rather eccentric woman who is currently studying Circus Arts. I came from a musical family, and began teaching the piano when I was ten years old, carrying on until the present day. I am quite theatrical and performative, with a strong sensitivity and desire to empathise with and understand those around me. I am a physical artist, but I also write, paint, sing, and am passionate about languages - I am also currently studying Italian and French.

First I want to get to know my students. It is essential for me to understand the way each individual wishes to learn, and I am flexible to accommodate various needs. My lessons are for anyone wishing to get to grips with grammar, yet I am also a great choice if you want to gain fluidity and confidence in conversational Spanish. Language is for communication, in my point of view. To understand a language is beautiful, yet to be able to use that language is a real gift. I would prepare exercises based on difficulties from previous lessons, and also set aside a time for speaking practice. Mistakes are the best way to learn. I am fluent in English as my mother tongue, so can easily explain difficulties in the Spanish language to English speakers. I have an excellent pronunciation in Spanish, so my not being a native speaker will not hinder your learning in any way. I lived, spoke, socialised and even dreamt in Spanish for several years.
