About Puja
Hi! I’m Puja. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I currently work as an engineer at a cybersecurity startup in the Bay Area, and I’m pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary Mathematics) with the goal of becoming a high school math teacher. I have over three years of tutoring experience in a wide range of math subjects, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, SAT Math, and ACT Math. I’m also volunteering in a local high school Algebra 2 classroom, where I assist students who need additional support and frequently teach lessons to the entire class.

My lessons consist of lesson plans customized for each student and practice worksheets to help ensure academic success. My lessons follow the structure of teaching about a topic, assigning practice problems, and then going over those problems to make sure that all questions are well understood!
I’m always happy to tailor lessons to fit each student’s learning style and goals - whether that means strengthening foundational skills, preparing for exams, or diving deeper into challenging topics!
