I have been teaching for thirteen years and have taught all age ranges; year seven through to year 13. I have also tutored cared for children and children with emotional behavioural difficulties, autism and ADHD. I have mostly taught in city schools and am used to both top sets and lower ability groups.
I love my subject and feel passionately that it is taught in a way that allows all learners to
access it equally. I differentiate the work I teach every day as I teach a range of ability levels.
My sense of humour allows me to make relationships easily with the pupils I teach. I am also patient and understanding. I can adjust my pace to suit my learners but I always have high expectations. All of the assessments my pupils partake in are marked promptly with concise feedback allowing them to know how to improve and move to the next level.
