About Mary
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in an administrative position at Department of Labor and Industries for over 4 years. I developed great organizational skills and demonstrated excellence in customer service. After that, I worked for 5 years as a middle school teacher, helping students interpret word problems in math and 1 year as a 4th/5th split teacher in all subjects. During my 2 years at Northwest Christian Academy, I facilitated reading and writing projects in my Economics and Biblical Studies class. I enjoyed developing interdisciplinary lessons and helping students meet their reading and math goals.
