About Samantha
I am a Manga Cum Laude graduate of Cazenovia College with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business Management with a specialization in Equine Business Management. Additionally I have an Equine Business Certificate from UMass Amherst, and am a professional certified equine appraiser.
I have spent a lot of time being a student and now, many many years as a professional in the equine industry. I have worked in nearly every area in the industry from veterinary offices to tack shops, and even ran a very succesfull boarding and training barn for six years. I am now an equine appraiser with longterm goals of becoming an adjunct professor for equine business related subjects.
I have spent many years teaching riding lessons, so I am no stranger to educating others. Now, on the path to becoming a professor I am eager to take on students in a classroom setting.

My teaching style includes lots of repetition and educating students on how important it is to do their own educational research to help them consume and understand all subjects independently. I believe being disciplined in education is important and understand that all students are unique and learn best in their own unique ways.
Lesson plans are tailored to individual students and how they learn. I have always been a successful student myself and want to see other students thrive as well. Not only have I been an equine student, but I have been a professional in the equine industry for nearly a decade and can offer endless coursework insight and practical knowledge.
My lessons are specifically for equine students. I would welcome tech program high schoolers or Associate or Bachelor level college and university students in any equestrian subjects or specialties.
