About Natasha
To tell a little about my own career pathway, I started out in pursuing a career in the medical field, choosing health sciences as my avenue. During those years, I was hired as a student at Health Canada where I found a new love of health research. While working there I went on to pursue my masters and continued working in the histopathology laboratory. After graduating, I went on to pursue a promotion and was in charge of the biochemistry and hematology laboratories.
Throughout the years I also took on a leading temporary position in the flow cytometry laboratory. Having touched so many different laboratories in the field, I have maintained a dynamic background which is especially important for teaching students. I can share both knowledge and experience in a unique way that others who have maybe only taken courses or stayed in the same subject field for their career may not.
Since then, I have enrolled in further courses, refreshing my knowledge and expertise in statistical software and data science. I am always learning new things and as a fellow student, I haven't forgotten the value of having a mentor or a tutor to help and guide!

I can also assist with counseling potential career pathways and show you how you can turn what will hopefully be a new-found love of science, into a rewarding professional career.
