I typically teach with a conversational style where I ask the student questions and ask the student if they have any questions no matter how small or big. I will often broadly cover a topic/unit from a specification, then focus with exam questions to ensure the student develops exam technique while developing understanding of the topic. Typically lessons are 1 hour, though I have experience working 1.5-2 hours if this works better for the student. I communicate different styles and try to phrase the key points in multiple different ways as not everybody learns the same way. I have extensive experience teaching GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. My experience is mostly from online tutoring where I have taught many different exam boards, including (AQA, OCR A and B, WJEC, EDEXCEL and IB). I have helped multiple students through their A-Levels and GCSEs, where every one of my A-level students have achieved grades that get them into university.
