About Rupankar

I have always had a passion for tutoring, as I have engaged in tutoring programs at my school for younger students, as well as having frequently tutored people of my age. I think tutoring is something which is often made too boring and monotonous, often stemming from teaching techniques at school, and I offer my students a much more fun approach to learning which also ensures that they learn everything really well. I attended St Olave's Grammar School in Kent, which is one of the leading grammar schools in the country. Away from academia, I enjoy cricket, tennis and music.

About the lesson

I will generally teach for an hour per session, which will involve going through content while ensuring that the student is engaged and actively learning. In the end, we will attempt practice questions to consolidate the learning, as well as me answering any questions the student may have before setting homework. I have already experienced success through this method, as I have lifted the students I tutor at the moment from a level 7 to a 9. For me, it is really important the student gets a proper understanding of the concepts being taught, so I will sometimes bring in slightly more complex ideas beyond the scope of the course to supplement this understanding. I will teach Physics from y7 level to A level, and Maths, Economics and English from y7 up to GCSE level.
