About Dragos

I'm passionate about Analytics, SEO, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and Conversion Rate Optimisation. On the courses I am also presenting with Screen Sharing Real-World analysis techniques that can be used to measure the marketing campaigns efforts. I enjoy to share the hands-on knowledge from the jobs I had over multiple years. Worked also with various agencies where we helped each other ( with different goals based on business context.

What I really like is how Dragos starts with a theoretical basis and then goes on to how to put that theory into practice. I loved particularly the practical exercises. 1) Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?
I started with a computer with cd rom and floppy disk shared with my brother. I
From the early internet days I was curious about how you can create a site and see it easily on the internet.
After some time I started to build my own personal website.
2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?
Artificial intelligence.
Smart objects, homes and cities will be part of everyday life.
AI has already made an impact in multiple areas like content generation, SEO tools or helping to complete tasks much faster.
3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.
I am passionate about SEO , Web Analytics and Google Ads.
People that have a site or that manage a site need support to get traffic with SEO or Google Ads and to analyze, optimize and increase the traffic. I am using tools like Google Analytics, GTM, Hotjar, Clarity, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, Semrush.
4) Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?
Steve Jobs had a relentless pursuit of excellence, commitment to simplicity, and ability to turn setbacks into opportunities.
Bill Gates Put the right information into the hands of the people that can make the most of it. He didn't search for fame or fortune, although he has both.
5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
I started hands-on with SEO and Analytics after I received access to the Google analytics account for an online clothes shop.
Started with quick changes on small pages. Over the years I worked for hundreds of sites in various industries and also in A/B testing.
6) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?
The mindset, patience and curiosity levels of a person can make a significant difference.
To learn something new in life, people need to be open and patient. Sometimes it might take consistent practice to become good at a new task or topic.
7) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?
I enjoy to do photography in my free time.
Photography helped me over time to become more observant and aware about the world and stay in the moment.
8) What makes you a Superprof in IT?
I was encouraged by my first SEO teacher and my friends to pursue teaching.
Noticed over time after attending myself as a student multiple trainings that not many trainings have for example enough hands-on / practical knowledge and the challenges of students.
My interest is to provide as much practical knowledge as possible to the people. Where it is relevant, I provide hands-on steps with screen sharing (related to the actual steps I do with a client) , actionable documents with checklists or guides and also actionable resources that people can follow. The resources can be followed by the students in their free time and I do checkups with students between sessions to verify if the information is clear or if there are questions.
