About James
I currently play in two groups, an acoustic duo and a popular music duo with a female singer/pianist. Before that I played in numerous rock n roll bands. I know music theory well; my father was a music educator and I took 8 years of piano lessons/theory before switching to the guitar. I love all styles of guitar and enjoy learning too as I teach you!

I've been playing guitar since 1986 and have played literally hundred of live shows over the years. I also have over 10 years teaching guitar. My method is all about showing you the songs that you love the corresponding theory that goes along with it. I don't pick the songs, you do! I teach you as much theory as you want - as much or little as you like. It's up to you. All this should be a fun time for you the student.
