About Brandi
Brandi Brumfield is a passionate guitarist and music educator with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University. She specializes in classical and fingerstyle guitar techniques and focuses on helping each student find the most effective and enjoyable way to learn their instrument. With over seven years of teaching experience in both private lessons and group classes, Brandi emphasizes strong fundamentals while keeping lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. Her goal is to make learning guitar feel approachable, rewarding, and fun, no matter your skill level or musical background. A true multi-instrumentalist, Brandi loves exploring a wide variety of instruments, including synthesizers, bass guitar, drums, and voice. She’s especially inspired by blending modern technology and media with the timeless beauty of classical music. Brandi has performed in a range of settings, from solo and ensemble classical guitar recitals to choral concerts and local band performances. One of her favorite musical experiences was performing Considering Matthew Shepard by Craig Hella Johnson with the Southeastern Louisiana University Concert Choir in 2022. When she’s not teaching or performing, Brandi enjoys relaxing with her pets and attending live music shows for inspiration and fun.
