About Enrique

Enrique began playing guitar at the age of 15. By the time he was 19, he was performing with rock, blues, and metal groups. He quickly realized he had a passion for music and began his classical training at CSU Bakersfield where he received a Bachelor’s degree in music education. during his studies at CSUB, Enrique was an active member of NAFME (National Association for Music Education) which allowed him to attended music teacher conferences and masterclasses for successful teaching. As a performer during his studies at CSU Bakersfield, he held first chair in the Bakersfield Guitar Quartet and was given the “Outstanding Performance Arts Project, Dean’s Award” for having the top recital performance of his graduating class. He continued his studies at CSU Northridge where he is currently in his last semester pursuing a Master’s degree in Guitar Performance. During his rigorous studies, he has performed with the prestigious CSUN Guitar Quartet as well as Mariachi El Matador de CSUN. Enrique loves spreading his musical knowledge and has been giving lessons to students of all ages and levels since 2014. His priorities as an instructor are not only to give his students the tools and guidance needed to become versatile, and knowledgeable musicians, but also to inspire and motivate them to continue their passion for music.

Cancelling lessons:
As part of a monthly commitment plan, all payments made are non-refundable.
Cancellation of a lesson must be made AT LEAST 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time in order to receive a make-up lesson.
No shows or failure to notify the teacher within 24 hours is considered a forfeited lesson and will not be refunded.
