About Fran
I started studying music at 7 with the violin and later with the piano. At 11 I discovered guitar and rock music and from there I never stopped. After various musical experiences in adolescence that led me to play all over Europe, at 20 I moved to London. In the English capital I obtained a BMUS (degree) in "popular music performance" in guitar at the Tech Music School (later BIMM). Since 2016 I have been working as a professional in the music industry as a session guitarist, touring Europe and crossing over to Russia and America. When I returned to London I was teaching for the "London Guitar Academy", one of the best schools for private guitar teaching for all ages in the capital. I now live between Milan and London but some future commitments will keep me more on Italian soil, of course with the guitar always ready to go on tour!

I think that each of us is different so that there cannot be a method that is the same for everyone, but what I have learned in my years of teaching is to value every single student. This is why my lessons are tailor-made for each individual case and I work with the method of "strenghts and weaknesses". Understanding what are the strong points and the points to improve of each student is important because it leads to a linear improvement and to the musical growth of each individual. Each lesson is made to learn something new, from technique, to theory, different types of chords or just a song. All this following both the skills of the student but also his taste and his desires as learning is fun and spontaneous.

Per anni ho provato a imparare a suonare la chitarra senza successo. Perdevo sempre continuità e stimoli. Con Francesco sono riuscita finalmente ad apprendere un metodo. È paziente e molto chiaro nelle spiegazioni, sempre incoraggiante anche quando si è davanti a tecniche più complesse. Un bel plus è che ha una cultura musicale sconfinata e mi ha fatto conoscere tantissimi artisti interessanti.
