About Max
I am a 24-year-old hobby guitarist with experience in both acoustic and electric guitar and as a lead guitarist in bands. I have had lessons for 9 years at the Lindenberg in Nijmegen, during which I mainly gained experience in the genres of rock, metal, and a little in pop. After 9 years of guitar lessons, I have broadened my music tastes and I am open to all kinds of music genres.

For students at beginner and intermediate level, I offer lessons in acoustic, electric, and 7-string electric guitar. I offer lessons in any genre of your choice, but my specialisation is mainly within pop, rock, and metal. The student's voice is given priority, of course.
During the lessons, I initially want to work on basic techniques such as posture, tuning (both with tools and by ear), plucking, picking (for electric), chords, and fluency of play. If it comes up, I can also offer instructions and help for more advanced techniques such as bending, pulling, (pinch) harmonics, and tapping.
In terms of location, I prefer giving lessons at the student's home or at an intermediate location. I also offer online lessons, although this would mean that I would have a harder time helping or correcting the student on their grip. Lesson duration is negotiable.
