About Carlos
I believe that the method should be developed specifically for each student, and be as encompassing as possible.
Using examples from traditional music, classical music, and our own compositions, we will work on technique, musicality, and ear training right from the beginning.
Depending on the frequency of classes, and respecting each student's time constraints, we will always suggest additional work beyond the lessons.

With a degree in mathematics and starting my career as a teacher in higher education institutions, I joined the Conservatory of Music in Porto (Conservatório de Música do Porto,) and completed it in 2014 - at a time when I was already studying musical composition, and completely dedicated to music, in favor of which I stopped teaching mathematics. With some experience in the music field, I started teaching, first the Classical Guitar, and since 2010, the Portuguese Guitar. I have my musical roots in the music of the unparalleled Carlos Paredes, and an interest in music from medieval, to classical, to contemporary.
