About Jorma
I was initiated to music by my father, a guitarist who loved Blues and Jazz. At a very young age, I started studying both piano and guitar. I learned Jazz guitar with Nicola Cordisco and attended St. Louis College of Music, studying with renowned guitarist Lello Panico.
I recorded the song “Do you want me to stay” by Vahimiti, which was featured on the record “Due” by Italian crooner, Mario Biondi. I was invited by Mario Biondi to play in Roma, Rimini, and Napoli as a guest guitarist. While in Rome, I met Tony Momrelle (Incognito, Sade) and toured with him in several Italian clubs. I also performed with Shayna Steele (Rihanna, Moby) and with Julia Lenti at the MTV Day in Turin.
In 2014 with the band noGospel I opened 2 shows for the blues legend John Mayall in Rome and Turin. With ZogaroS I performed at Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival, opening for Antonio Sanchez, and at Jazz Refound festival, opening for Stephanie McKay. I toured for almost 2 years with the french musical "Legends of Rock" as member to the Aerosmith tribute band
