About Everest
I have been playing guitar for 15 years, and throughout this time have played in numerous groups. I was the guitarist for the group “The Rusty Suspenders” when they won the annual Healdsberg Jazz Festival in Sonoma County. In 2017, my folk duo “William & Everest” won the first annual Sebastopol Talent show, we then went on to play a show on the radio station 95.9 “The Crush” where we played some of our originals. I also played for 3 years with an alt-Rock group under the name of “Washington Hill”. I am currently in the process of getting a degree in music education, and am currently studying Jazz Guitar at the Santa Rosa Junior College.

Lessons with me are flexible, I want to help you pursue music through whichever style excites you the most, whether that be Rock, Metal, Raggae, Fusion, Jazz etc. No matter what genre, my goal is to offer you a well rounded education on guitar, so that you are confident no matter where you are playing music. I’ve spent the majority of my life playing music and can offer insight into technique, fundamentals, lifestyle, how to practice, and more. I hope to offer a unique journey, through which we both benefit.

Perfect! My daughter got a guitar for Christmas, so the first lesson was actually the first time when she held a guitar. Everest was excellent in communication before the class, he even recommended the right guitar for my daughter. During the class he was very patient, kind and supportive, and my daughter felt at ease with him and she liked her first ever guitar lesson! He is very personable and a good teacher. We are looking forward to future classes.
