About Angela
Usually, we start by checking your tuning before diving into the specific strumming patterns we outlined for the day. You might find yourself working through a new chord progression while I play along to keep the tempo steady.
I provide custom backing tracks so you can practice soloing at home with confidence. My degree in music informs how I explain complex theory to grade exam candidates and working professionals. It is quite simple.
My 10 years of experience mean I know exactly where you are likely to get stuck. I play guitar every single day.

You need a teacher who understands the mechanics of scales, modes, and power chords to move past your current plateaus. I want you to feel the neck of the guitar comfortably in your hands while we explore the nuances of rhythm and tuning. Having earned a BM in Guitar from Concordia University, I bring a structured approach to every session.
My personal narrative is woven through the chanson tradition, which adds a melodic sensibility to my technical instruction. I have guided 426 students through the frustrations of learning their first patterns. Maintaining your instrument becomes second nature with my guidance. My goal is to keep our sessions relaxed and focused on what you enjoy playing.
