About Simon
I am a self-taught musician, started playing guitar 20+ years ago. I was deaf until I was 5 years old and I am now able to play Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums and tune instruments by ear, so anyone can do it! I studied Music in college and have played gigs all over England and Europe and now want to pass on what I have learnt. I have 5 years teaching experience across a broad range of ages and abilities. I have released 3 EP's available on all streaming services.

I give lessons to beginners and intermediates. If you've never picked up a guitar before, that's great, if you've been playing for a while but want to get to that next level, that's great too. I want you to enjoy what you're doing, so you have the motivation to continue. I want to give you the tools to enable you to teach yourself, but if you need a more hands-on approach that is fine too. We can decide what kind of curriculum you'd like to start, be it a weekly refresher to keep you on the straight and narrow or structured projects, we can find out what works best for you! If you have any questions don't hesitate to get in contact with me.

Perfect! My husband is thoroughly enjoying his lessons and has now had 2! The Superprof platform is a little confusing though as
I thought I paid for the first lesson when I registered with Superprof, but unfortunately that was not the case.Perfect! Simon is a great teacher, he is teaching us guitar and bass. He’s very informative and patient. Really enjoying the lessons. Thank you Simon

- Toms and his client Paul are both really friendly and communicative. Paul already has a great understanding of chords, their structure and names, and has a good passion for music. We both agreed he needs to work on picking out instruments when listening to music which will enable him to imitate and learn faster. - Already has knowledge of chords, and how to move between some of them, parts of the guitar. Has the hang of basic rhythms and making the guitar sound good. Super easy to teach and get along with! Excited to teach more!Simon's response :

Perfect! Simon is undeniably the best of the best. I've had many music teachers throughout my life, and can honestly say that Simon has been the absolute best. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He really adapts his teaching style to your preferences and makes you feel so comfortable when practicing.
