About Thomas
Singing with the Hallé Orchestra for 9 years taught me how to listen to the architecture of sound before placing a single note. My Bachelor of Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland provides the foundation for teaching songwriting and the nuance of reading sheet music.
Over 6 years of coaching, I have refined my ability to explain electric technique and blues progressions to players of all levels. I enjoy balancing the technical demands of acoustic technique with the raw energy required for rhythm guitar. My teaching journey is a reflection of those years spent in various UK ensembles.

Your first session starts by identifying the songs that define your musical identity. 104 students have sat in this studio to find their voice through the guitar. I use my 6 years of performing experience to ensure that we turn your specific song requests into simplified arrangements that work for your current dexterity.
