About Michael
I have played guitar since 6 years old. I performed in front of school mates, at school. After school full time on the road for 3 years, town to town from the age of 19 to 22.
Took classical guitar and theory training at Alberta College ( Edmonton Alberta ) for 5 years in late 80's. Played in many part time bands, many different music styles, country Rock, Heavy Rock, Blues, soft Rock.
Song writing and much studio work with original music.

I teach what the student wants to learn, and help them go in the direction they choose.
In my 25 years of experience, 30 min lessons are a great time frame for reviewing, and moving on with something new. 45 min are good for those students who want to dive deeper into the understanding of music and the relationship of chords to scales.
I teach from 6 years of age up wards. Beginners, Intermediate, and advanced players. Finger exercises, Solo techniques, picking, finger picking, sweep picking and alternate picking, arpeggios, and your favorite songs.
