About Sam
I first started playing piano at age 6 and guitar at age 10, after always hearing classic rock in my dads car. I picked up the bass guitar while I was studying audio production and music business at Middle Tennessee University. I am currently teaching myself harmonica and saxophone.
Taking music theory classes in college opened up my understanding with the way music actually works, which enabled me to enjoy and appreciate it more. The same went for critical listening to audio productions of recorded music.
My next step is to share with others the listening ear and musical understanding that I have been blessed enough to develop so that their lives may be enriched.

Teaching beginners who are interested in learning a specific instrument, or just want to learn how to listen to and appreciate music.
After understanding the students skill level and interests, we will cover basics, then to keep it fun and exciting, we will use your favorite songs as teaching methods, while at the same time, ensure that the student is accurately learning the musical theory behind their favorite music.
