About Greg
I've been playing music for more than half of my life at this point and have studied music deeply both in a self-taught capacity and at a university level. I find both have their own pros and cons. Although, as a student of great teachers and mentors in the past, there is something indispensable about the structure and guidance of a great teacher. I want your curiosity to steer our lessons towards what interests YOU, and I will be your trusty captain there to help steer the ship.

I like to tailor my lessons to the individual! Generally speaking, I like to really dive into what makes you excited to keep picking up the guitar and pursuing your own voice as a musician. Theory and technique can be a very important part of that, but I find students are much more engaged when learning what they love, why they love it, and how it really ticks. I've had a lot of luck helping more intermediate players get out of the plateau that so many of us face. More advanced concepts and jazz theory, etc., is also a very exciting and rewarding path we can explore if you find yourself interested!
