About Priyanka
Currently based in NYC, I work as an Art Director by day, exploring ideas, imagining possibilities, and creating ads and designs that matter!
This process of thinking, imagining, and bringing a visual to life has been the driving force behind my artistic journey. It led me to art school, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Art at the prestigious Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art (Mumbai). I further pursued a Masters of Art in Advertising Design at SCAD (Atlanta).
Wearing my art director’s hat, I dabble in various artistic areas including graphic design, typography, illustration, book design, academic design research, motion media, and fine art painting. These diverse skills help me create meaningful and beautiful pieces in my artistic endeavors.
With keen interest in typography and academia, I have had the wonderful opportunity to publish and present my research papers at typography conferences in India and in the US.
I am thrilled to persist on this journey of creating artistic work that intersects different creative areas and push boundaries through my work!
