About Hugo
I trained as an engineer in the mid 80’s and graduated to engineer in 1989, just in time to co-produce the Mercury Music Prize winning “Screamadelica” for Primal Scream. I then did 15 years working with David Holmes, amongst which I managed to engineer the Grammy award winning “In Rainbows” for Radiohead. I still work as hard as I can as long as the projects keep coming. But I am looking forward to sharing the knowledge I have garnered for over 30 years.

I can teach you all aspects of being a sound engineer, from Recording to Mixing. The concepts behind production from arrangement through to your finished recording. You will need to know the basics of Protools or Logic. I’m sorry I don’t really want to be someone that teaches you how to use the software. But there will be some software tips and tricks along the way. :-)
