Graduating with a Bachelor's of Music from Manhattan School of Music, Philippe Clément is a Composer, Performer & Educator that offers in-person/online lessons on Guitar! 

Philippe is an absolute gem! He is patient, kind, and incredibly talented. My son really enjoyed learning with him!

Philippe has been a wonderful teacher! We meet once a week on how to be a better jazz musician. We go over the basics of band leading, form, and agility. He works at my pace and when I need a little push he’ll encourage me to go even further. He is very patient and I have seen a big improvement in jazz skills.

Philippe’s technique is so dialed in he is able to communicate to students with ease on a level they can understand in plain language. My 17 y/o grandaughter is learning to play so quickly and she seems to enjoy learning the notes and chords while also learning some theory as well which can be a real challenge. I believe Philippe’s ability to simplify what could be complicated musical concepts helps to hold my grandaughter’s interest.

Philippe is a very talented and kind teacher! I always walk away from a lesson feeling like i have learned much more than I came in with. He cares a lot about the craft itself, will make sure you understand the guitar as an instrument, not just how to play it! :)

My 7-year-old son has been taking guitar lessons with Philipe for a couple of months now and we couldn’t be happier. He has a natural gift for working with children he’s incredibly patient, encouraging, and makes learning fun. Our son looks forward to every lesson and is always excited to show us what he’s learned.

What we appreciate most is how Philippe balances structure with creativity. He teaches proper technique while also allowing room for curiosity and enjoyment, which keeps our son engaged and motivated. It’s amazing to see how much progress he’s made in such a short time!

Philippe is super knowledgeable and encouraging. He will start you off with some solid foundations and get you playing songs quickly.

Phillippe is an incredibly passionate and organized teacher. I could tell from the first minute that he was a professional, both on the guitar and as a teacher.

The biggest compliment I can pay Phillipe is that I’ve made more progress working with him for about 4 months than I made in about 9 months of self-directed work before I started lessons. I’m an intermediate guitarist and was struggling to find my way forward, but Phillippe helped me identify what areas need improving and we dialed in my practice routine to be more efficient. Our lessons are clearly well thought out and he prescribes useful exercises.
