First, my teaching method is to assess my students' understanding of the concepts in a comversational style. Then, I aim to align their level of understanding to the concept I am about to teach. In maths, the tackled concepts are like the elements of a chain-- when the chain is broken, it does not consider it to be structured and gaps arise. That's why I would like to consider their undersntading first prior to proceeding to the exact lessonin order for learning gaps to be addressed.
