I currently work in HR and have a passion for reading and writing. English can sometimes feel ambiguous, but I strive to make it fun and accessible! I am a law graduate with three years of experience tutoring students for their GCSE English Language and Literature exams. My approach is patient, supportive, and fully tailored to each student’s individual needs. I believe in creating engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable while ensuring students gain a clear understanding of key concepts. I provide structured, one-to-one online sessions that focus entirely on the student, following the official marking schemes to help them understand exactly what examiners are looking for. I also emphasise the importance of knowing the assessment criteria, so students can approach their exams with confidence. In addition, I guide students through the complexities of essay writing and creative writing, helping them develop the analytical and storytelling skills required for success in GCSE English.
