About Nicola
I am a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic tutor with several years of experience working with children in both educational and care settings. I have worked with children aged 2–13 in Ireland and abroad, supporting early learning and English language development. My background in childcare and youth work has helped me develop a calm, nurturing approach that builds trust and confidence. I am passionate about helping children feel comfortable using English and creating positive learning experiences that support both academic and personal growth

My lessons are student-centred, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s needs and ability. I specialise in beginner English and English as an additional language for children aged 2–13. I create a fun, relaxed, and structured environment where children feel confident using English through play, conversation, and engaging activities. With several years of experience working with children, I focus on building strong foundations in vocabulary, speaking, and understanding, while helping each child grow in confidence and enjoy learning at their own pace.
