About Jessica
I have been tutoring year 11 and 12s over the past 2 years and I have absolutely loved supporting students in their study. Every student has a completely different learning style that is not always catered for in a classroom environment. I really enjoy the challenge of framing knowledge in unique ways to best support different students.
Additionally, particularly as a female in a stem degree, through tutoring I hope to encourage, and help make it possible, for more students to pursue maths and science subjects.

Having completed year 12 recently in 2020, I have an in depth understanding of SACE, and what knowledge and performance level is expected in tests, exams and assignments. Within my tutoring lessons, I strive to not only support students in the content they are currently learning, but also to support their learning overall by introducing highly effective study and learning strategies. I ensure each session is tailored to the individual's needs, whether this means providing extension material, or extra questions to practice fundamental skills. I also provide drafts, free of charge to any regular students, with in-depth feedback, specific to SACE requirements. My past and current tutoring students have consistently experienced a 1-2 letter grade increase, or have maintained A grades, following my tutoring.
A past student of mine had this to say after finishing their sessions: "Jessica's sessions and guidance have been invaluable to my understanding, and I have no doubt they will be instrumental to my success in my upcoming exam.
